Desert Companions Test | Who Do You Let Go of First?

The Desert Companions test is less a quiz and more a mirror that reaches somewhere you don't usually look. You will walk a long desert beside five companions, and as the road gets harder and the water runs lower, you will be asked again and again: who do you let go of next.

Each companion quietly stands for a part of your life. There is a tiger who refuses to bow, a soft and steady sheep, a horse who keeps looking toward the horizon, a peacock who wants to be seen, and a broad reliable cow. You don't need to know what they mean. Just answer by instinct, choosing at each turn the companion you can most bear to release right now. What matters is never who you keep. It is the order in which you let go, because that order tends to name a priority you would not say out loud.

It takes about three to five minutes. When a question makes you hesitate, choose the option that hurts a little less, not the one that looks more correct. There are no right answers. This is a gentle act of noticing, not a psychological assessment, and it cannot decide any relationship or choice for you. Treat it as a quiet walk, and watch what your hand still holds when there is not enough to carry everything.
