There's no trip today, no celebration — just a table caught in the afternoon light. You think about taking a photo, then feel like it's not worth it. This page keeps a place for an ordinary day: a record doesn't have to wait for a story worth telling, and it doesn't need to be shared. Wanting to keep that moment is reason enough to press the shutter or write one line.

A photo keeps one angle — it doesn't preserve your whole life. So there's no need to ask it to prove you're doing well, and no need to treat what you didn't capture as wasted. If the photo involves someone else or something private, consider their wishes and how far it should be shared first; sometimes just writing one sentence about it keeps the detail you wanted to remember just as well.

Find one small scene you noticed today. Photograph it, or describe it in three sentences: what you saw, what you were doing, why you wanted to keep it. Write the date, hold off on commentary, and don't rush to post it. Look at it again later and let it be ordinary.
